Unisys Awarded Comprehensive Contract to Provide Information Technology Services for Military Agencies, Department of Defense and Other Federal Agencies

ENCORE II award continues Unisys support of government agencies

BLUE BELL, Pa., May 21, 2008 - The U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has awarded Unisys (NYSE: UIS) a contract to compete for task orders to provide information technology (IT) solutions to military agencies, Department of Defense (DOD) and other federal agencies under the $12.225 billion ENCORE II multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract.

Unisys is eligible to compete for task orders to provide services such as IT policy and planning, integrated solutions management, performance benchmarking, communications and security engineering, security certification and accreditation, business process re-engineering and Web services.

The award will allow Unisys to continue to provide IT services and support to DOD organizations as the company has done as one of the top contractors on DISA’s original ENCORE program, awarded in 2002. Under that contract, Unisys won task orders for projects such as supporting three of DISA’s Defense Enterprise Computing Centers and the Army’s Radio Frequency Identification Device network, the largest network of its kind in the world.

Unlike ENCORE I, the new contract will focus more on network-centric services to facilitate information sharing and interoperability.
