Entry to Mid-range MCP systems: Libra Model 400 Server
Libra Model 400 Servers are fully featured, entry and mid-range mainframe systems for MCP environments. These new servers are based on the ClearPath Next-Generation Server Architecture and feature quad-core Intel processors running both MCP and Windows operating systems. These systems deliver all of the traditional mainframe attributes, a wealth of valuable business characteristics, and a flexible modular design.

Mid-range MCP systems: Libra 4000 Server
The Libra 4000 Server is a single partition, mid-range ClearPath server that uses the x64 architecture and is based on Intel XEONTM processors. It executes MCP applications and provides levels of performance associated with traditional Unisys CMOS-based Libra servers. This platform delivers mission-critical performance for our most demanding clients. This level of performance is achieved through the integrated hardware and MCP software architectures and investments delivering constant product enhancements over a number of years. Depending on the configuration, the server provides a multi-processor performance level of 600 MIPs (800 MIPs in a metered environment) with a single image performance level of 200 MIPs.
The Libra 4000 Server maintains the traditional high level of security built into ClearPath MCP systems. The overall system design ensures enterprise levels of reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) and provides a flexible, cost-effective solution to respond to business challenges and opportunities. The server supports an extensive MCP software portfolio with true mainframe attributes. You can choose from among four different operating environment packages, each of which is designed to support a different type of processing workload.
