A path towards a Real-Time Infrastructure

Unisys Real-Time Infrastructure (RTI) strategy spans Information Management technology, services and platforms. The ClearPath strategy embraces all elements of RTI and is focused at the enterprise level. In addition to the high-end CMOS platforms, ClearPath has introduced an innovative Next-Generation Server Architecture. This new architecture provides a path for accelerating the pace towards a Real-Time Infrastructure. It uses a Unisys Intel® processor-based platform and includes a plan to enable four operating systems – ClearPath MCP, ClearPath OS 2200, Microsoft® Windows® and Linux – to run on the same system. The new mid-range Dorado 4000 and Libra 4000 represent the second wave of Next-Generation platforms. They move the performance and capacity well up into the mid-range market. Future Next-Generation platforms will expand this technology into the highest levels of performance, providing ClearPath clients with attractive options, while reinforcing Unisys commitment to ClearPath and our RTI Strategy.
